The Orono Red Riots pushed their way into a possible home playoff game with a 59-38 win over Bucksport Thursday night. The victory moves the Riots into the #8 spot in Class C which would keep them home for a playoff game.

The Red Riots got scoring from eight different players - 13 from Jake Koffman and 10 fro Keenan Collett in the win. Orono finishes 9-9. Bucksport finishes 9-9 and in the #10 spot.

Here are some other storylines...the Hampden boys and Presque Isle girls unbeaten streaks continue. The Broncos won at Skowhegan 74-30 to finish 18-0. Their win streak is now at 40.

Presque Isle beat Caribou 76-43 to finish 18-0. The Wildcats have a 62 game win streak heading into the tournament.

The Nokomis girls also finished the year 18-0 in Class B.

The Easton boys also finish 18-0 in Class D after beating Washburn Thursday night.

Tonight is the last night of the regular season. The Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket feature game is Bangor vs Brewer boys from the Cross Center in Bangor. Tip time is 7pm.
