A week ago, Joe Harasymiak was UMaine head coach. Last night, he helped Minnesota head coach P.J. Fleck win the Quick Lane Bowl in Detroit.

Harasymiak joined the Big 10 Gophers defensive coaching staff, headed up by former UMaine coordinator Joe Rossi.

Minnesota beat Georgia Tech 34-10, holding the Tech option running game to 283 total yards of offense.

The Gophers finish their season at 7-6.

NOTE: Former UMaine quarterback Marcus Wasilewski is also on the Minnesota coaching staff as an assistant coach for strength and conditioning.
