The Hermon Hawks jumped out to a big 29-11 advantage in the first quarter over John Bapst and took an easy victory versus the Crusaders to move to 8-0 on the season.

Keenan Marseille had a game high 23 points in the contest, along with five three pointers made, while sophomore Isaac Varney dropped 20 points in the 89-41 victory, including hitting all six shots he took in the first quarter for 12 points.

The Hawks hit a total of 12 three pointers in the contest, including Eli Reed hitting five of his own from beyond the arc coming off the bench.  Hermon outscored John Bapst 57-20 at the halftime break before picking up the 48 point victory.

John Bapst was led in scoring by Nate Smith and Jacob Weymouth, who each tallied eight points.

With the win Hermon stays unbeaten with a mark of 8-0, while John Bapst falls to 2-6 on the year.  The Hawks are set to host Oceanside this weekend, while the Crusaders will have a home contest against the Old Town Coyotes.
