The winning continues for the Class B defending state champion Hermon Hawks. In the rematch of a triple overtime game last month, the Hawks beat Oceanside 58-49 Saturday afternoon.

That puts Hermon at 10-0 and the top seed in Class B. The win streak goes to 32 straight for the Hawks.

The Mariners drop to 7-3.

After a close, low scoring first half with a lot of fouls, Hermon outscored Oceanside 22-15 in the third quarter to put the Mariners in a hole.

Cody Hawes led the Hawks with 15 points. Eli Reed added 11 and Garrett Trask scored 10.

Cooper Wirkala had 25 of the 49 points for Oceanside.
