Hermon first year coach Kyle Gallant admires longtime Winslow coach Mike Siviski but when they meet at Pottle Field in Hermon tonight he wants his team to know it is just another game.

While Gallant has done a good job building a young football program at Hermon, winning three games already this season, the guy he faces across the field has coached for three decades, has 256 career wins and seven state titles. That is tops among active high school coaches.

The Hawks football program began varsity status in 2011.

Both teams begin tonight with 3-1 records. Winslow is seeded #1 in the Heal Points and Hermon is #4.

Winslow Black Raiders: They love the power run game. In the first four games the Raiders have run the ball 172 times and passed the ball 28. Winslow has 23 touchdowns on run plays, two through the air.

Senior QB Ryan Gagnon runs the show and Ben Dorval and Ryan Fredette are featured backs with 700 rushing yards and 16 TDs between them.

Hermon Hawks: They love to run the game too. 1,099 rush yards and 13 touchdowns. But the Hawks will throw the ball and have seven TDs through the air.

Junior QB Garrett Trask has run the ball 48 times for 467 yards but he's also thrown the ball 47 times for 294 yards and seven TDs. Senior Joel Bishop is the feature back.
