Hockey East: Huskies Sweep Black Bears

Northeastern goalie Cayden Primeau stopped all 33 UMaine shots as the Huskies left Alfond Arena with a 4-0 win and a weekend sweep of the Hockey East series.

Northeastern moves into second place in Hockey East at 8-2-1 (14-4-1 overall).

Maine drops to 3-5-2 and 7-11-2 with a game at Boston College next on the schedule.

The Black Bears and Huskies were scoreless after one period last night but Northeastern scored three times in the second period to take command.

Maine goalie Jeremy Swayman finished the night with 25 saves.
