Hockey East Teams Top the PairWise Rankings

The first college hockey PairWise rankings have been released and there is a heavy slant of east teams at the top of the rankings.

BC is #1, Quinnipiac #2, UNH #3 and BU is #5. Maine is not among the top 25.

The PairWise rankings mimic the formula used by the NCAA to determine playoffs positions. Strength of schedule, RPI rank, how a team does against teams-under-consideration are all factored in.
