Things could not have gone better for the Red Sox in game three of the ALDS. A 16-1 smashing of the Yankees to take a two games to one lead in the series. A win tonight and it's on to the ALCS.

Brock Holt had the biggest night - becoming the first player ever to hit for the cycle in the playoffs. After hitting a single, double and triple, he capped it off with a two-run homer. Four hits and five RBI for Holt.

And then there was starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi. Seven innings of five hit, one run ball. He struck out five and didn't walk a batter. It was a starting performance exactly what the Sox needed.

The big inning was the third when Boston scored seven times. A bases clearing double from Andrew Benintendi was the biggest hit.

But really everybody hit in a Sox uniform. 18 total hits and runs in six of the nine innings.

Tonight, it's game four with live coverage on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket starting at 7:05pm.
