Rick Porcello pitched five quality innings and Brock Holt came up with another key pinch hit as the Red Sox beat the New York Mets 5-3 Saturday evening.

The win puts the Sox at 102-47. The franchise all-time win record is 105 (1912).

Porcello pitched well, giving up just two hits. One of them was a three-run homer to Brandon Nimmo. He gets the win, his 17th victory of the season (17-7).

Four relievers did the rest, including Craig Kimbrel, who got his 41st save.

The two big hits for Boston came in the 5th inning. A Jackie Bradley double scoring two runs. The call was orginally a home run but was reversed on umpire review.

The second hit was a wall-ball double by pinch hitter Brock Holt. He drove in two RBI.

The Sox magic number to clinch the AL East drops to five and then four if the Yankees lose.
