Hoogterp Scores 21, Old Town Wins
The Old Town Coyotes have won 17 straight games dating back to last season, they won their 7th of the season Monday night beating Foxcroft 71-36.The Coyotes put 12 players in the scoring column led by senior Eric Hoogterp who poured in a game high 21 points. Mitchel Cole added 14.
The second quarter is where Old Town won the game when they outscored the ponies 21-3 after getting their fast break game in gear which was jump started by Cole who made three straight baskets.
Saturday the defending state champs go on the road to Caribou to play the 4-1 Vikings.
Foxcroft falls to 2-4 on the season and were led by Dylan Harmon-Weeks and Sean Cody who had 9 points each.
