Al Horford and Kyrie Irving helped to spoil the party the Milwaukee Bucks were planning. The Celtics beat the Bucks 96-89 at the old 11,000 seat Mecca Court as the Bucks celebrated the 50th anniversary of the team.

Horford pumped in 27 points while Irving added 24 to lead the C's to the victory.

The young guns, Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, totaled just 21.

The Celts played much better defense of Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo and made him work for his 28 points. No other player had more than 15.

Both teams are 3-2 now.

The Celtics have won three in a row since dropping their first two game vs Cleveland and the Bucks to open the season.
