Simply put, Pedro Martinez is one of the greatest pitchers to throw a baseball. And, one of the most dynamic personalities to wear a Red Sox uniform.

Tonight he will be on stage at Gracie Theatre in Bangor as part of Townsquare Media / Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket 'An Evening With Red Sox Legend Pedro Martinez'.

It is a sold out event.

Martinez was traded to the Red Sox after the 1997 season and for the next seven years he had one of the most remarkable pitching runs in history.

He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. The Red Sox retired his #45 at Fenway Park.

Pedro finished his career at 219-100 (69%), five ERA titles, 3,154 career strikeouts, three Cy Young Awards and a modern-era best 1.05 WHIP.

VIP ticket holders get a chance to meet and greet with Pedro before he appears on stage tonight to take part in a question and answer session.
