The Boston Celtics made a late 4th quarter run but came up short, losing to the Houston Rockets 104-92.Houston put six players in double figures led by Dwight Howard's 32 points. James Harden and Jeremy Lin each added 16 points. Howard also had 11 rebounds while Terence Jones had his own double-double with 12 points and 12 boards.

Avery Bradley had the hot hand for Boston throwing in 24 points to lead four Celtics in double figures. Jerryd Bayless made his Garden debut after being acquired from the Memphis Grizzlies and led the 4th quarter charge scoring 15 of his 17 points.

The Celtics have dropped nine straight games putting their record at 13-26. They will try to get back in the win column on Wednesday when they host the conference leading Toronto Raptors.

After the game Jerryd Bayles talked about the loss and his first Garden experience as a member of the Celtics.
