The injury plagued Boston Bruins are playing just well enough to lose in overtime. It happened again last night in Detroit. Former UMaine goalie Jimmy Howard and the Red Wings beat the B's 3-2 in OT.

The B's get one point in the standings for a regulation tie but for the fourth time this season, they lose in the overtime session (11-6-4).

While guys like Bergeron, Chara and McAvoy are out with injuries, it was Jakob Forsbacka-Karlsson and Chris Wagner scoring the goals for Boston.

Tuukka Rask played well stopping 24 shots.

Former Black Bear goalie Jimmy Howard played better, stopping 34 shots. He is 6-1 with a 2.10 GAA in his last seven games.
