The Bangor Rams will have a difficult early season test on Friday night as they host the Windham Eagles at Red Barry Gymnasium in Class AA boys’ basketball action.

The Rams started off the season with an 82-47 victory in the season opener last week with help from junior forward Matthew Fleming who had a game high 25 points against Lewiston.  Henry Westrich also had a good opener, logging 24 points and Damien Vance chipped in with 23 in the victory.

The Bangor side was slated to travel to Oxford Hills this past Tuesday, but inclement weather postponed the contest twice this past week.

The Windham side, which was 12-6 last season and made the postseason as a 6th seed in Class AA North, come into the contest with a 1-1 record.  The Eagles beat the Cheverus side on opening night by five points with a 56-51 score, and then lost to Portland 61-44 at home this past Tuesday.
