The MCI Huskies picked up a win over Foxcroft in a rivalry contest on Friday night by a score of 34-20 at Alumni Field.

Adam Bertrand led the attack for the Huskies with 36 rushes for 176 yards and added a score in the contest.  Freshman QB Ryan Friend went 4 for 6 for 47 yards and had two passing TDs.  Foxcroft QB Nick Clawson was 10 for 19 for 136 yards, with a TD and an interception thrown.  He also led his team in rushing with 109 yards and two scores.

The two teams combined for four scores in the first quarter of play, including an MCI touchdown 1:10 into the contest set up by a Pedro Matos 51-yard run.  The Huskies would score once more before the end of the half to take a 28-7 lead into the half.  Both offenses would stall in the third quarter before MCI was able to sneak out another later touchdown to win the game by the 34-20 score over Foxcroft.

With the win, MCI moves to 4-3 on the season and will host Winslow in the regular season finale next week.  Foxcroft falls to 5-2 and snaps their five game winning streak as a result.  The Ponies will face Mattanawcook in their season finale on the road.
