Husson Assistant Quirion Named Mt. Blue HS Coach
Husson University assistant coach Nate Quirion has been named the new head football coach at Mt. Blue High School in Farmington. He will replace Jim Aylward in running the Cougars program.
The 36-year-old Quirion has been Husson's running backs coach for the past three seasons and coached one of the top D-III backs in the nation, John Smith.
He is a graduate of Winslow HS and Husson University.
Before joining the Eagles coaching staff, Quirion spent time as an assistant football coach at Bangor HS and Lawrence HS.
Mt. Blue football finished in 7th place in Class B North last season with a 3-5 record.
