Husson Beats Amcats 35-14

The Husson Eagles(3-2) are flying high these days with three consecutive wins, the last two in ECFC conference play. Saturday afternoon Gabby Price and his Eagles beat Anna Maria College of Massachusetts 35-14.

Former Bangor HS quarterback Joe Seccareccia, who took over as QB before last week's game, had another outstanding day. He ran the ball 17 times for a team high 133 yards. He was 5 for 10 passing, good for 74 yards and 1 touchdown.

Byron Jackson rushed for 122 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Husson is now 3-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play. The Eagles host Becker College in another ECFC conference game next Saturday.

By the way, both the UMaine Black Bears and Maine Maritime Academy have bye weeks.
