The season came to an end for the Husson field hockey team in the first round of the NCAA tournament after suffering a 2-0 loss to Mt Holyoke.Mt. Holyoke, the 16th ranked team on the country scored both goals in the first half and never looked back in getting their 17th win and moving into the second round where they face another Maine team in Bowdoin College.

After finishing an undefeated conference schedule in which they did not give up a goal until the conference semifinals, the Eagles end the 2014 campaign with a 9-9 record.
