Following the best regular season in program history and trip to the NCAA tournament, the Husson University football team has claimed a school record 12 ECFC awards.Two years after returning to the program Gabby Price has been named the Coach of the Year leading the Eagles to an 8-1 regular season record. Freshman John Smith was named Rookie of the Year, Stephan Dance the Defensive Player of the Year, and Alex Young Offensive Player of the Year.

Smith rushed for 1,144 yards and 13 touchdowns in just 7 games, averaging 127 yards per game. With 15 yards on Saturday Smith will break the school record for yards by a freshman in a season.

Dance, a senior safety racked up 62 tackles on the season along with 2 interceptions. He will finish his career as the programs all-time tackles leader.

Young is a senior from Oceanside High School has been the leader of an offensive line that has helped the Eagles gain over 3,000 yards and score 294 points.
