Husson Golf Team Competes For Another Title

The Husson University golf team will try to make it nine in a row this weekend. Nine straight North Atlantic Conference championships. Six other schools will try to end that streak.

The NAC championship will be played at Black Swan Country Club in Georgetown, Massachusetts Saturday and Sunday. 36 holes, 5-member teams, the top 4 scores count.

Greg Martin(Ellsworth HS, Maine) and Greg Pike(Pomfret, Conn) lead the Eagles team. Colby Snell(Foxcroft Academy, Maine) is a rookie of the week selection. Josh Gaudette(Waterville HS, Maine) and Marshall Foster(PVHS, Maine) are also part of the Husson team.

The NAC champion team gets to go to North Carolina in the spring for the NCAA Division Three Championship.
