Husson Golf Wins State Tourney At Bangor Muni

Courtesy Husson Facebook/Monty Rand PhotographyThe Husson University golf team dominated the Maine Intercollegiate Championship held at Bangor Municipal Golf Course over the weekend. The Eagles won the team trophy and the individual medalist trophy.

The 11 colleges in the state that field golf teams compete in this tournament. Husson won team play by 23 strokes (595 team total) besting 2nd place USM (617 team total).

Porter Gervais won the top scorer award with a 143 (69-74). He is a freshman out of Houlton HS. Husson players carded 4 of the top 5 tournament scores.
