Husson University has hired Madeline Hoeppner to coach its field hockey and women's lacrosse teams. She is a former lacrosse player for Divison-1 Sacred Heart.

Along with her lacrosse background, Hoeppner coached high school field hockey in Connecticut.

The Eagles lacrosse team finished 3-10 this spring. It has been a varsity sport at Husson since 2009.

The Eagles field hockey team completed a 10-8 record last fall. Jen Johnstone stepped down as coach to accept an assistant coach job at Division-1 James Madison University in Virginia.
