Husson Meets Becker In ECFC Tilt

The Husson University Football team has won 9 straight games in the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference and put that streak on the line today against Becker.Kickoff today at the Winkin Complex is at 12noon and the Eagles are considered the heavy favorite as they have established themselves as the team to beat again this year. Through the first two conference games Husson has outscored their opponents 86-14. Husson is 7-3 all time against the Hawks.

The Eagles defense is ranked 3rd in the nation allowing just 176 yards per game and have only given up 91 rushing yards in the last two games combined.

The offense has has started to put things together after a slow start by sophomore running back John Smith, he has now run for 629 yards in 4 games and his 258 yard performance last week got him the conference offensive player of the week award.
