The Husson University basketball teams wrapped up a successful weekend with the men and women sweeping New England College on Saturday.The women took out the Pilgrims 67-58 giving head coach Kissy Walker her 400th career win. Freshman Chandler Guerrette led the Eagles with a team high 17 points while Amanda Johnson came off the bench to get 14 points. Husson trailed by five at halftime but held NEC to just 26 second half points to take the lead and go on to push their conference record to 6-2.

The Husson men continued their impressive start to the season moving to 13-0 overall and 7-0 in conference play after a 91-65 win over New England College. The Eagles have won their seven conference games by an average of 24 points.

Phil Leighton scored a game high 17 points while Trevon Butler added 15 points to go along with 6 rebounds, 5 steals, and 5 assists.

Husson will step out of conference for a game against Bates Tuesday at Newman Gymnasium.
