Husson Men Stay Unbeaten
Put the Husson men's basketball team record at 9-0 after a road win at Norwich, 65-45. The Eagles played their first game of the second semester Saturday afternoon and it was the first game without the services of rookie guard Raheem Anderson who suffered a broken ankle over the semester break.
But the Eagles did not miss a beat. Trevon Butler scored 23 and Brooks Spaulding added 16 in the win.
Defensively Husson held Norwich to just 29% from the floor and just 1 of 12 from the three-point arc. The Eagles also forced 21 turnovers. Husson also out rebounded Norwich 48-28.
One more non-conference game, a home game vs Colby on Tuesday, before swinging into NAC play full time.
