Husson University basketball teams stayed undefeated in the North Atlantic Conference as the men beat Maine Maritime 85-79 while the women beat the Mariners 74-57.The Husson men withstood a second half charger by the Mariners improving to 5-0 in the NAC and 7-3 overall.

Raheem Anderson scored at team high 18 points while Trevon Butler posted a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds.Jordan Holmes hit 3 shots behind the arch and finished with 13 points while Zach Curran hit double digits with 12.

Hermon native Tyler Thayer led the Mariners (3-8, 2-3) with a game high 23 points.

Kissy Walker's women's team also improved to 5-0 in the conference thanks in part to an impressive performance by Vicki McIntyre. The senior racked up 25 points to go along with 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. Kenzie Worcester, Rebecca Young and Chandler Guerrette each added 9 points.

Husson turned the Mariners over 19 times and converted those into 19 points. The Eagles defense also came up with 12 steals.

Tess Clark was the leading scorer for MMA with 18 points.

Husson teams will next play at Thomas College on Tuesday. The Mariners will travel to UMaine-Farmington.
