It was a banner day on the Husson University campus as both the men's and women's basketball teams won the North Atlantic Conference Championships.Along with winning the titles they also get a spot in the NCAA tournament and will find out who, when and where they play during the selection shows Monday.

The Husson men got a double-double from tourney MVP Trevon Butler who finshed with 27 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Eagles to a 94-77 win over Colby-
Sawyer. Junior guard Raheem Anderson contributed 22 points and was named to the all-tourney team.

When Darryl Wood made a layup with 8 minutes to play in the first half it gave the Eagles a lead they would maintain for the rest of the game.

Warren Caruso's team has now won 5 NAC championships in the last 8 years and await their playoff destination Monday at 12:30 when the NCAA holds its selection show.

Kissy Walker's Eagles claimed their first NAC title in five years with a 58-49 win over Castleton University and their third conference title in program history.

Freshman Kenzie Worcester led the Eagles with 22 points while Chandler Guerrette added 12 to help the Eagles improve to 20-6 overall this season and 19-1 in conference games.

Worcester was named the tournament MVP while Vicki McIntyre was named to the all-tourney team.

Husson will learn its NCAA tournament opponent during the selection show Monday at 2:30.
