Husson Opens Season On The Road

Husson football spends opening day Saturday in New York to play against the Alfred University Saxons. The Eagles play in the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference. The Saxons play in the Empire 8 Conference.

In the preseason coaches poll, Husson was picked to finish 3rd. Alfred was picked 4th in its conference.

A year ago, Gabby Price and the Eagles finished at 5-5 overall. Robert Rankl and the Saxons were 8-3 a year ago. Rankl takes over head coach duties after being a longtime assistant with the program.
