Momentum is a key ingredient to have success on the football field and the Husson Eagles got their "Mo" late in the first half and cruised to a 40-14 win over SUNY Maritime. The Eagles scored two touchdowns in the final :39 seconds of the first half that seemed to take the wind out of the Privateer's sails who never showed signs of life over the final two quarters.

With the game tied at 14 Eagles wide receiver Robenson Saintard took a hand off on an end around around and scored form 10 yards out to give his team the lead with :39 seconds to play in the half.

Two plays later the Husson defense forced a fumble that was recovered by linebacker Ellis Throckmorton. That set up the Egles with a short field and quarterback Joe Seccareccia hit Deon Wiggins in the corner of the end zone with no time left in the first half.

Husson's defense which was ranked 5th in the nation entering the game shut down the Privateers and held them scoreless in the second half.

The Eagles are now 5-0 in the ECFC and will be on the road next week at Norwich who is also undefeated.
