It was a good news bad news day for Husson basketball as the men suffered their first conference loss while the women cruised past Green Mountain College and move to 10-0.The Husson men fell behind 21-7 to start the game and despite eventually taking the lead, they could never pull away and the Green Mountain Eagles took the 92-88 win. The loss is the first of the season for Husson who is now 9-1 in the NAC.

Husson got 26 points form Trevon Butler in the loss and 22 form Raheem Anderson.

The Eagles will step out of conference Tuesday when they host Colby College.

The Husson women had no problems getting their 10th conference win of the season as they cruised past Green Mountain 105-47.

Five Eagles scored in double figures with Meagan True leading the way off the bench with 17 points. Darla Morales was a perfect 4-4 form behind the 3-point line and finished with 16 points. The other players to hit double digits were Vicki McIntyre (12 points), Kenzie Worcester (12 points) and Chandler Guerrette (11 points).

Kissy Walker's team will also play out of conference on Tuesday when they play at Bowdoin.
