It took 7 innings for the Husson Eagles to score their first run of the game and that is all they needed to claim their 7th straight North Atlantic Conference Championship.With two outs in the bottom of the 7th inning of a scoreless game against Thomas College, Haley Spiers came through with an infield single to walk off with the title. The 26-11 Eagles were undefeated in the tournament and earn the automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.

Sami Schultz continued to batter opposing pitchers coming up with 2 more hits and earning tournament MVP honors.

The Husson baseball team had its season come to an end after losing to Thomas College in an elimination game of the North Atlantic Conference tournament 5-2.

Jason Harvey's Eagles were held to 9 hits and finish the season with a record of 26-17.

Thomas moves on to play Castleton State for the conference championship.
