Husson junior QB Cory Brandon felt right at home at the Winkin Complex on Homecoming Day for the Eagles, leading his team to a 49-0 victory over Castleton.

Brandon showed staggering accuracy completing 15-of-17 passes, 183 yards and four touchdowns. He played less than three-quarters of the game.

The Eagles scored 21 points in the first quarter and added another 21 points in the second quarter to put this one away early.

Senior RB John Smith carried the ball just 16 times for 94 yards but scored three TDS.

While Husson racked up the offense, the Eagles defense hold the Spartan to just 160 yards of total offense. Castleton QB Mitch Caron was picked up three times and the Spartans had one fumble.

The win gives Husson the outright lead in the ECFC with a 3-0 record (5-1 overall). Castleton falls to 2-1 in the conference and 3-3 overall.

The Eagles travel to Washington D.C. to play Gallaudet next Saturday.
