The Husson University baseball team ran its win streak to 8 games after taking a double-header form St. Joe's at the Winkin Complex Tuesday.Coach Jason Harvey's Eagles have been red hot since returning from their Florida trip as they won a couple close games against the Monks by scores of 4-3 and 8-7 in 11 innings.

J.T. Whitten delivered the key hit in the opener to drive in the game winner. After Kyle Bishop drew a two-out walk, Whitten followed with the walk-off double sending the Eagles to the win.

Whitten and Jordan Carter each finished with 2 rbi while Bishop collected 2 hits.

Dennis O'Neil was solid on the mound scattering 7 hits in the complete game win, his first of the season.

The Two teams went 11 innings in the second game with the Eagles pulling out the 8-7 victory and improving their record to 10-7 on the season.

Husson returns to conference play on Thursday when they play UMaine Farmington. Those games will now be played at the Winkin Complex starting at 2pm.
