The Husson University women's basketball team knocked off the #8 team in the nation, The University of Chicago, by a score of 64-59 at a holiday tournament in Nashville Sunday afternoon.

Kenzie Worcester led the Eagles with 23 points. Logan Huckins came off the bench to score 19 and Megan Peach came off the bench to grab 12 rebounds.

Husson outscored the Maroons 37-21 in the middle quarters of the game.

Coach Kissy Walker and her Eagles finish the tourney at 1-1 and are 5-5 overall for the season.

The Maroons of Chicago drop to 9-2. Their only other loss came early in the month to #2 in the nation Thomas More University.

The Eagles return home to begin NAC conference play next weekend vs UMPI.
