Husson University junior forward Trevon Butler has been named D3hoops.com Classic Tournament Most Outstanding Player after helping his Eagles to two wins at the Las Vegas tournament.

14 Division III teams competed in the holiday tournament event.

In Husson's win over #16 ranked Scranton, Butler scored 17 points.

In the win over previously unbeaten Hampden-Sidney(Virginia), Butler had 16 points and 10 rebounds. He fired in the game winning three pointer at the buzzer.

Husson guard Raheem Anderson was named to the all-tourney team.

Husson returns to Bangor with an 8-1 record.
