For the second straight day, the Husson Eagles and New England College Pilgrims split a twinbill in North Atlantic Conference baseball.

NEC won a 2-0 pitcher's duel in game one. Husson scored a dramatic 11-10 walk-off win in the second game.

GAME 1:  Just as game one Saturday was a duel on the hill, so too game one on Sunday. NEC's Nick Powers pitched a seven inning complete game shutout, scattering five Husson hits. The Eagles tough-luck loser was Austin Smith who gave up two runs, only one earned. He scattered five hits.

GAME 2:  The Pilgrims scored two runs in the top of the 7th inning to grab a 10-8 lead but the Eagles came back to score three runs in the bottom of the 7th to win it. The first run came on a bases loaded walk by Nick Guerrette. The second run came on a RBI hit by Alex Chapman. And then the game winner came when Sam Huston got hit-by-pitch with the bases loaded.

The four game weekend set leaves Husson at 3-3 in NAC play (7-11 overall). NEC leaves town at 5-3 in the NAC 916-6 overall).
