Bryce Gilbert averaged 31.5 points and 12.5 rebounds over four games, including a 43-point, 19-rebound performance against Valley. The Piscataquis Community High School senior scored his 1,000th career point earlier this season in an overtime loss to Dexter.

Ian McIntyre of Hampden Academy scored 18 points Jan. 30 vs Medomak Valley as he reached the 1,000-career point plateau. The win was Hampden's 9th in a row. The Team picked up its 10th consecutive win Thursday against Mt. Blue, 98-44.

Jacob Godfrey of Hermon scored his 1,000th career point last week in a 70-47 win at Presque Isle. He finished with a game-high 23 points as the undefeated Hawks picked up its 17th win of the season. He also scored 12 points vs Foxcroft Academy and 17 against Mount Desert Island.

Christie Woodside of Hampden won all three girls jump events Saturday in Orono. She leapt for distances of 16-08.25 in the long jump and 34-02.25 in the triple jump. She reached a height of 5-00 in the high jump. The PVC-EMITL Championship is Saturday in Orono.
