J.D, Martinez smacked a two-run home run over the Green Monster and out of Fenway Park as the Boston Red Sox beat Toronto 6-4 Wednesday afternoon. Make it a three game sweep of the Blue Jays.

The homer was #18 for Martinez and it gave the Sox the lead for good.

Eduardo Nunez also hit a home run. In fact, Andrew Benintendi, Jackie Bradley Jr. and Blake Swihart all had two hits.

On the mound, Eduardo Rodriguez went 6.2 innings, allowing just two runs on three hits. He struck out seven while walking just one. E-Rod is now 6-1. Craig Kimbrel picked up his 18th save.

The Sox head to Houston for a four game series with the Astros. They do so winning nine of their last 11 games.

Their 39-17 record is the best in baseball.
