Three former UMaine football players are on the move in the NFL with one getting a job and two others looking for work.Matt Mulligan who signed with the Arizona Cardinals three weeks ago was released prior to Sunday's game when the team had to make room to activate a player off injured reserve and add a running back. Mulligan started the season in Chicago with the Bears.

Montell Owens who has battled injuries each of the last two seasons was released by the Detroit Lions on Tuesday. Owens is a 2-time pro bowler and spent the first six seasons in the NFL with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Kendall James is now back in the league with the Cleveland Browns who signed the corner back to their practice squad. James was drafted in the 6th round of this years draft by Minnesota and released at the end of training camp. He also spent a couple weeks on the Texans practice squad until his release in October.
