Jackie Bradley Jr. made a leaping catch to save runs early in the game, then late in the game ripped a 2-run home run to help to the Red Sox beat the Anaheim Angels 4-2 Thursday night.

That means a three game series sweep for the the Sox and a season sweep (6-0) of the Angels.

And, it means a one game lead over the Yankees in the AL East heading into the big weekend head-to-head matchup with the Yanks. The Sox are 55-27.

Not only did JBJ make a great defensive play in this one, Andrew Benintendi made a leaping catch to save runs and and Mookie Betts made a couple of catches to prevent runs.

Meanwhile, Brian Johnson, Hector Velazquez and Brandon Workman got the Sox through seven innings. Joe Kelly and Craig Kimbrel finished the deal.

Bradley and Rafael Devers cracked home runs.
