The Red Sox scored a season high 14 runs - six of them in them in the 4th inning as they pound the Oakland A's 14-7. Jackie Bradley Jr. drove in six of those runs with a grand slam and two other hits.

The win puts Boston at 19-13 and gives the Sox a share of first place in the AL East.

David Ortiz and Travis Shaw joined JBJ in the three hit club. Five of the nine Sox players in the lineup are now hitting over .300.

On the hill, Clay Buchholz wasn't very good, five innings of pitching and giving up four runs. He pitched just enough to get the win.

NOTE: Manager John Farrell announced last night that Eduardo Rodriguez will make at least one more start in Triple A.
