Jackie Bradley Jr. not only smacked a 2-run game-winning home run in the 8th inning, at 457-feet it was his longest home run ever. Sox scored a 5-3 Friday night win over the Detroit Tigers.

Mitch Moreland ripped a game tying single in the 8th inning rally. He had three hits and two RBI.

The Sox bullpen saved the night after starter Brian Johnson threw 105 pitched in 4.1 innings. Heath Hembree, Joe Kelly, Matt Barnes and Craig Kimbrel combined for 4.2 innings of shutout ball.
