After a 10 day layoff the Boston Bruins were hoping for a little more. They get a point in the standings but lost to Winnipeg in a shootout 4-3 last night at Boston Garden.

Former UMass Lowell goalie Connor Hellebuyck stopped 36 B's shots on goal, including stopping all three shootout shots by the Bruins.

B's goalie Jaroslav Halak gave one in the overtime and that was enough for the Jets to pick up the added point in the standings.

The Bruins are now 27-17-6 and in fourth place in their division. That means they are fighting for one of the two wildcard spots.
