Jimmy Howard will be out at least a week with another knee sprain, suffered Tuesday night in a game versus St. Louis. For the former Maine Black Bear it is his second sprain of the same knee since early December.

The first sprain of the MCL happened back on December 11th. He was out of the lineup until just before the New Year's Day outdoor game. Since coming back Howard has been playing well. But in the second period against the Blues Tuesday he felt something and left the game.

Howard says there is some fluid on the knee. He will rest for a week and then be re-evaluated.

Also at stake is Howard's spot of the USA Olympic hockey team. He was selected as one of the three goalies that will go to the Sochi Games next month.
