Justin Norwood Wins 100th

The MDI Boy's Basketball team defeated John Bapst 66-35, Thursday, February 6th to move to improve to 13-4 on the season. With the win Coach Justin Norwood won his 100th career game. MDI plays host to Ellsworth Friday, February 7th in the last regular season game, a game that will be broadcast on WDEA AM 1370 and WDEA Internet Radio.

According to Coach Norwood "I could not have done it without the players, wins have more to do with them then coaches. I have been fortunate to coach a lot of good players, have good coaches around me (Matt Umphrey, Tony Mckim, Matt McFarland, David Gray and Andy Pooler), and administration to work for. I am extremely lucky to work at such a great place!"

Justin Norwood, who graduated from MDI High School in 1998 is in his 7th year as Head Coach at his alma mater.
