Keegan Bradley, Sean O’Hair Among GBO Alumni

Keegan Bradley, Sean O'Hair, Lanny Wadkins...they all played in the Greater Bangor Open Golf Tournament in past years. The 47th GBO is set for this week at Bangor Muni so it begs the question - who is the next young golf gunto play in the GBO?

The event begins with a Tuesday pro-am event then three days of competition starting Wednesday. Over 100 pros and amateurs are in the field and the winner collects $9,000 in prize money.

Will Mitchell, a pro from Canada, is back to defend his 2012 GBO title. Other former GBO champions include Mainers Jesse Speirs and Shawn Warren.

Ivan Lendl returns to play in this year's event. Lendl turned to golf and eventually turned pro a few years ago after competing on the tennis stage. Lendl spent several years as the world's #1 ranked tennis player.
