Kelly Works 3 Innings In Win Over NYY

Score the first of many meetings between the Red Sox and Yankees a win for the Sox. Joe Kelly pitched the first three innings of a 10-6 exhibition game win.

Kelly gave up a couple of runs, three hits, a walk and four strikeouts.

A-Rod hit a home run off Brandon Workman.

For the Sox, Mookie Betts had a three hit day. Garin Cecchini had another two hit game and drove in three runs. The young third baseman has seven RBI this spring.

The Sox and Yanks meet again for a Friday night exhibition game. They play 18 times in the regular season.
