Los Angeles Dodgers lefty Clayton Kershaw was as dominating as a no-hit pitcher could be. 15 strikeouts, 107 pitches and 79 of them were strikes. The one Colorado batter to reach base was Corey Dickinson on a 7th inning throwing error by shortstop Hanley Ramirez.

The Dodgers beat the Rockies 8-0.

Kershaw is a 2-time NL Cy Young winner but it is his first no-hitter. Josh Beckett threw a no-hitter just a month ago and it is the 22nd no-no in Dodger history. Sandy Koufax had four.

Legendary broadcaster Vin Scully, now 86-years-old, called his 19th no-hitter....check it out...
