Kevin Harvick came from 12th place with 15 laps to go and won the final NASCAR race of the year and the driver championship.

Down in Homestead, Florida Harvick and his team had a strategy decision to make when caution came out for debris on the track. The #4 Stewart-Haas team decided to take four new tires and it proved to be the correct decision.

He beat out Denny Hamlin to the checkerd flag for the win and the season championship.

It is Harvick's first driver title and he was driving in his first season for the Stewart-Haas team.
